On March 24, the magnificent Music Box Theatre hosted the Chicago premiere of Paradox (2018) directed by Daryl Hannah and starring Neil Young along with Lukas Nelson’s band, Promise of the Real. This recording of Willie Nelson’s song, “Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground” was recorded live around a campfire and is the highlight of the film.
“Journal of Ardency” was featured in an episode of HBO’s new show Barry (2018–) starring Bill Hader as a hit man who decides he wants to take up acting.
